About Matt Harrah

I am a web developer and manager with 19 years software development experience, including 6 years of Java Enterprise development and team leadership. I have worked in defense consulting, retail, chemical manufacturing, education, and health care.

I attended Old Dominion University from 1985-1989, majoring in Computer Science, and serving as Student Body Vice-President in the Student Senate. I also earned my Master’s degree in Information Technology from Virginia Tech in 2006.

I am the secretary and co-founder of the Southeast Virginia Java User’s Group (SEVAJUG), and a frequent presenter before the group. I am also the creator of an open-source project I call PEA, which is an attempt to assess the quality of JUnit tests.

I am married and have two sons.
